Shelby Rodriguez is a dedicated legal assistant driven by a profound passion for family law. Shelby is committed to supporting clients through the complex terrain of divorce, child custody battles, property division, and various legal aspects that define familial relationships.
Shelby graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in communications in the spring of 2023. Shelby’s journey into the legal realm commenced in January of 2023 when she stepped into the role of a legal assistant. However, her commitment to the field was evident even before that, having previously served as a legal secretary for the office. Her experience as a legal secretary equipped her with a foundational understanding of the intricacies of navigating client relationships and fostered her passion for family law.
What distinguishes Shelby within the legal profession is her fluency in American Sign Language. This proficiency allows her to bridge communication gaps and cater to a diverse clientele, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard and understood in the legal process.
Moreover, Shelby has been building experience in matters pertaining to child support, modifications of existing orders, enforcements, and the intricate process of property division. Her eye for detail allows her to scrutinize legal and financial documents to effectively work o her clients’ discovery process within a case.
Outside of the office, Shelby is pursuing a career as an attorney of her own. She is currently attempting to take the LSATs and pursuing her dreams of going to law school. Shelby one day hopes to become an attorney to further help client’s in need of help in the family law sector.
