Cari Jacoby is an associate attorney at Youngberg Law Firm. Her practice focuses on divorces, complex custody matters, child protection, domestic violence, temporary restraining orders, protective orders, enforcements, modifications of exiting orders, child support, division of property and spousal maintenance.
Cari has over a decade of experience as a persuasive and successful trial lawyer. She works closely with clients to provide advice to reach successful outcomes in their family law cases. Cari is a trusted family lawyer who guides clients through challenging cases to favorable results. She zealously represents clients in the courtroom and through all phases of their family law case. Cari provides compassionate representation and keeps clients informed and prepared for every step of the proceedings. Recognizing the financial and emotional burden extensive litigation in divorces and other family law cases can have on clients, she works to resolve most matters prior to trial. Cari is sensitive to her client’s interests and is committed to aggressively advocating for their interests.
Prior to moving into private practice, Cari worked for the State of Alaska, representing vulnerable children and indigent individuals. She has extensive experience with jury and bench trials and other contested hearings. She gained widespread experience establishing, modifying, and enforcing court orders.
Cari attended Baylor University, where she graduated in 2006. She obtained her license to practice law in Texas in September 2019. Prior to practicing law in Texas, she practiced law in Alaska for 14 years.
